What belongs here?
Build questions, wiring and programming gotchas, tool recommendations, vehicle-specific teardown tips, and better ways to do a step in a lesson. If it helps another upfitter get a vehicle out the door right, post it.
How do I ask a good question?
Say the vehicle platform (year, make, model, package), the equipment involved, what you tried and what happened. Add a photo. Tag the post so people can find it later.
How do I share a tip?
Use the "Share a tip" button, start the title with "Tip:" and tag it Tips & Tricks. Keep it to one idea per post.
Why karma and badges?
Karma (XP) is earned by finishing lessons and by helping here: an accepted answer earns more than anything else. Higher karma unlocks editing, tagging and moderation rights, and moves you up the ranks from Cadet Installer to Master Upfitter.
What is not allowed?
Customer names, agency vehicle plates and VINs, photos of undercover or covert builds, pricing negotiations, and anything covered by a CJIS or confidentiality agreement.
